This HAND necklace with sculpted porcelain hand and copper bead chain would make a lovely gift for a craft worker or someone who appreciates sculpture. I modelled a hand in wax, and from it, made a mould which was used to cast two porcelain parts.
The porcelain pieces were carefully joined and hand finished.
Finger nails were glazed and then the hand was fired for the first time in my kiln.
24 karat gold lustre was applied to the finger nails and the hand was fired for a second time.
Fitted with a 14 karat rose gold fill bail.
100% copper bead chain* 2.2 mm and clasp.
