A hand to hold. This porcelain hand amulet has an opal all seeing eye in the palm (to symbolise vision) and gold nails for fun. It will complement your crystal collection or fit snugly in your pocket.
I sculpted a hand and an eye and made moulds from them. The moulds were used to cast three porcelain parts which were carefully pieced together and finished.
The nails are glazed then the hand is fired in my kiln.
24 karat gold lustre is applied to the nails and the hand is fired again.
Faux opal* is secured in the eye.
